A taste of life in Zurich

This is my best friend, the pretzel king. He keeps me company while Martin is at work. He is located right at the train station where Martin gets on the train to go to work every morning. It's less than a 5-minute walk from our apartment.





See all the pretty purple flowers that hang over the top of the train tracks? They're like a little bit of happiness in all the rain and gloom that is Zurich right now.

And then I walked up the hill to get a few closer pictures. Anybody know what they are? I have to look them up somewhere. In these pictures, the train station is down the hill straight ahead. Our apartment is to the left and down the hill in that direction, about a tenth of a mile away.
